The parents of a child with neurogenic bladder want to know if cranberry juice will help prevent urinary tract infections in their child.

TRUE or FALSE?

Although cranberry juice has been shown to decrease the risk of recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI) in adult women, it has not been shown to reduce the risk of recurrent UTIs in children predisposed to them.
